Finally got my ass in gear and got my comic hub all together. I’m only including full comics and books that I’ve illustrated (not single illustrations for book covers or anthologies). It’s nice to see it all in the same place and MAN, does it make me want to start another comic, but I have to wait until the first TH book is out. I promised Dave. ;A; Stinky Dave man.

Damn if the deadline wasn’t so soon I’d totally do something for them.
So I had various cries over the last few days and I’m back in working order. I’m going to try to get back to everyone’s emails and notes, let yins know I’m not catatonic in a corner somewhere. The rape happened years ago so I’m not really in that initial stage of recovery but it was a big emotional load to get off my chest. I’ve kept it secret for a really long time save for a few friends, but it feels good to not have to hide it anymore. But now there’s only one thing to do…

A manga I actually want to read? Why, yes.
It’s about a 21 year old woman who falls for the middle-aged owner of a restaurant. I get the impression it’s a slice-of-life, romance kind of deal and I can dig that. That’s Claudio up there, the middle-aged man she falls for. BE STILL MY BEATING HEART. I really don’t get my love affair with old guys but, seriously, Dave needs to hurry up and AGE.
EDIT: Okay, after reading some reviews, this isn’t shaping up to be what I thought it was going to be. It seems like the first volume is just page after page of being told how handsome these fellows are. SIIIIGH I’ll give it a try. =n=
I’m kind of disinterested in the anime version of it; the style of the original comic is lost in a washed-out sea of digitalized cel painting but waddagunnado.
If I get some extra money saved up I’m going to buy the first volume. First MUFON, then comics. ;A; UFOs are currently more important than comics. Unless it’s a UFO comic… Then I’m torn.
